"I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord" –PSALM 84:10

As a girl, I helped at church by washing spaghetti dinner dishes, laying linoleum in the Art Gallery/Fellowship Hall, putting candles on the altar, decorating the Easter cross. Working side by side, Mom would say, "We are making God's house beautiful!" What a privilege it is for ALL of us to be doorkeepers of God's house! Though Solomon built God's beautiful temple per His specifications, it needed to be rebuilt, restored, refurbished repeatedly.

We are in such a season at Crystal Cathedral-rebuilding, restoring, and refurbishing God’s house!

Thank you for all you are doing to make God’s house so beautiful and a light to our community and our world. You are needed…you are home…in God's house. Together, we can do miracles with God's help!

...feed the hungry!
...reach/teach the children God's Word!
...welcome people from around the world!
...keep God's house beautiful!
...be a positive impact on our community!
...be a loving, listening ear!

Gilbert GarciaPastor Sheila shared about our dire landscaping situation, and when Dr. Schuller said, “Find a need and fill it,” I walked out excited! I now help lead the Landscaping Ministry of more than 50 die-hard volunteers!!

Phil Hardie On Mondays, when we feed the homeless and hungry, I enjoy doing the cleanup of all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. I truly consider it physical and mental therapy with a bonus of blessings and joy!

Ikumi Baker I'm so blessed to witness our kids growing up to be uniquely beautiful and strong young Christians. I’m grateful to be a small part of their journey to Jesus. I can't wait to see the kids every Sunday!
