Every student at the Crystal Cathedral Academy receives instruction in theatre arts. They are all taught the history of theatre as well as how to use their voice and body on stage. They explore and analyze outstanding literature. Through the process every student learns presentation skills, which we believe is an essential skill no matter what profession they choose.
"I think that the training the students have received (in drama) at this young age will help them throughout their lives…the talent level of the students was astonishing."choose.
--Ron Thronson, Dean of the School of Communication Arts.

The Crystal Cathedral Academy & High School is fortunate to have the use of the new, state-of-the-art Evelyn and Frank Freed Theatre.
The students use the theatre as a venue for their yearly productions as well as student recitals and other school concerts and ceremonies.
The high school is planning on using the theatre as a high tech classroom for teaching students sound and lighting.
