Crystal Cathedral

The Academy offers an after-school daycare program for students in grades K-8. Children are supervised on the playground and field area for a portion of the time. The remainder of the time is spent indoors where students are able to be involved in a variety of activities.  Some of these activities include computers, reading, library time, arts and crafts, watercolor painting, organized games and a variety of other educational and fun activities.  

In addition to these activities, daycare provides a quiet study hall room for students to work on homework and reading.  The study hall room is supervised by the daycare director who holds a multiple subject California teaching credential for grades K-8.  The program runs from 3:30 - 6:00 pm daily, with the exception of a few minimum days a year.

Currently, the staff consists of three daycare employees, along with the Daycare Director.  Mrs. Debbie Manson, who is our current 2nd grade teacher, is the director of daycare and remains on campus until 6:00p.m. to supervise, tutor, and assist. 

The cost of this program is $3.00 per hour or $1.50 per half hour or any portion thereof.
