About Crystal Cathedral High School

Crystal Cathedral High School is a member of the Southern California Interscholastic Federation—Southern Section (CIF-SS), the governing body for all high school sports in southern California and our teams compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). This conference is an association of thirteen Christian high schools that have organized to provide a structure for interschool competition in select team sports for both boys and girls. The organization has a set constitution and by-laws as well as rules for the conduct of each sport. League officers are elected to manage game scheduling, liaison with referee assignors, maintenance of game scores and standings as well as a playoff system for each sport.

CCHS offers two team sports for boys and two for girls within the context of our membership in the WAC. Students are eligible to play on a CCHS team providing they meet minimum academic standards and submit the required permission/consent and CIF forms prior to the start of each season. Seasons of competition consist of up to ten games, plus playoffs (if qualified by win-loss record).

Boys Team Sports
Winter Season (Jan – Mar): Varsity Basketball.
Spring Season (Mar – May): Varsity Volleyball.
