DRAMA NOTES FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR 2009/2010

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE! I'M IN A NEW ROOM THIS YEAR...ROOM 227!
I'M VERY EXCITED TO START ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR WITH ALL OF YOU AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON MONDAY!

6th – - read 48-49. Discuss history of Drama and storytelling. Do ex. On pg.49

6th – Work on Griot Scenes. Perform scenes next week
6th -Hand out Web 1 for Monday. Explain how the assignment is done.


K-Perrino- Intro: what is drama? Introduce the basic tools used in acting.
group activity: Duck duck Theater goose.Objective: Use the body as an acting tool.
