Art projects for the week of January 5th,,,
Kindergarden Project 10: Step drawing
Students learn how to draw a dog by following step-by-step instructions. Finding simple shapes helps students learn how to observe.
Medium: Crayon
1st Grade Project 8: Monet duplication paitning
Students are ready to paint. We will learn how Monet painted and learn to duplicate Monet's landscpae.
Medium: Tempera
2nd Grade Project8: Dinosaur project
We will now learn how to add tones( how light or dark something is) and shadows on their pcitures.
Medium: Color pencil
3rd Grade Project 8: Mosaic
Students will come up with images from the Bible. This is a group project.

4th Grade Project 6: Dupication painting - Claude Monet
Medium: Acrylic paint
5th Grade Project 7: Bird
Students learn various techniques in watercolor. We will drill on how to soften edges and how to layer with watercolor paint.
Medium: Watercolor
Highschool Ceramics and Sculpture
Project6: Clay Block Carving Students use harder blocks of clay to carve out 3-D project.
The art book is here! We had an opportunity to enter an art book contest in May of 2008. And many of CCA/CCHS students' artworks are published in the art book, Art Treasures; A Tribute to Young Artists. I have a school copy in my room (art room #224) and you are welcome to come by to take a look. Congratulations on those students whose artworks got published!
