6th Grade Science
We are finishing chapter 9. The Chapter Test will be Thursday 2/9. The 3rd quarter mini project will be assigned on Friday and due February 23.

7th Grade Science
We are beginning the second text book – Cells and Heredity. You may wish to begin looking for materials to use for the cell models we will be constructing in class the week of the 13th.

8th Grade Science
We are completing Chapter 8 on Carbon chemistry. The chapter test will be Friday 2/10. Chapter 8 is the final chapter in unit 1. The Unit Test covering chapter 1-8 will be next week on Thursday 2/16.

Physical Education Grades K-5
Jump rope for Heart is Coming! Grades K-5 will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart activities on Wednesday 2/22. If you are collecting for the Heart Association your collection envelopes are due on the 22nd. Parent help is requested as well as donations of sliced oranges.
