Mrs. Johnson’s Weekly Homework Sheet
February 13-16

Spelling:

Monday: Write Spelling Words (1) time each.
Tuesday: Say the word, spell it and say it again.
Wednesday: Verbally use each spelling word in a sentence.
Thursday: Give a family member our spelling test. Correct it together.
Friday: Spelling test at school.

Reading:
Monday-Thursday:
Practice reading 10 minutes each night with a family member. Use a book from home, school or your local library. Discuss story after reading.

Math:
Complete side “B” of all math sheets sent home. Review any new or difficult concepts. Please practice math facts nightly!

Bible:
Christian Characteristic: Patience
Christian Characteristic : “Be patient in trouble and prayerful always”.

What’s new this week?
Math: Measuring and drawing line segments to the nearest half inch.
Bible: The Death of Moses. (Deuteronomy 31-34)
Social Studies: Where is Switzerland? We will learn about the seven continents and some new map skills.

Looking Ahead:
February 14th- Valentine’s Day Party and Card Exchange.
100th Day of School! Yeah! The students will receive stickers and bookmarks to celebrate the 100th day.
February 20th- Presidents’ Day- No School.

Awards: Congratulations to Jessica Chan for receiving the “Love” award this week in School Family. Way to go Riana!
