Congratulations on making it to the second month of school. After checking progress reports and perhaps not seeing the grade you (or your parents) are 100% happy with, this EXTRA CREDIT is for you. As October is famous for Halloween, your extra credit is simple. Carve a pumpkin with your favorite historical figure. If you're artistically challenged (like me), carve the history class out in the pumpkin. Display the pumpkin outside and take a picture of it. Extra EXTRA credit will be given if you take a picture of 3 or more trick or treaters (non family)next to the pumpkin on Halloween. Post the picture online under the Extra Credit tab. The best pumpkin carving wins (having trick or treaters will help) Extra Extra Extra credit (bonus to be discussed in class).
