Christmas Break
4th grade- We will be writing our own scripts when we get back, and then Mr. Mejia will be teaching your class second semester.
6th Grade- Remember over the holiday to look up the information on your composer for Music class, If you read and Gather your information, using the outline I gave you, we will be able to put the research report together in Literature when you get back. Remember part 1 was the background- childhood, family, Part two was the three songs and type of musician, and part three was influences, who did they influence, where are they most popular.
8th grade- Please finish reading the Scarlett Pimpernel, and write a chapter summary for each chapter. this will become your study guide for tests, quizes, and worksheets, so do not be lazy about it. Fill it in the same way we did for Johnny Tremain.
Europe Trip- Glory table nights are December 23, 29, and Jan. 2. On the nights you signed up, you must stay the entire time in order to earn the money for that night. You must bring snack items to sell. We set up two hours prior to the show. Final payments are due on or before January 5, 2009. There are no exceptions, we need to get the money to Casterbridge that week......
Into the Woods- We will begin Rehearsals in January, at our first meeting, I will give you a rehearsal schedule according to the character you play. On the days you are schedulued will be the only days you need to attend.
Scholarship- All paperwork needs to be turned in to me no later than January 19th. This includes letters from your teachers, and your essays. We will schedule your auditions with the judges sometime before the end of January, so memorize your monologues.
