November 2-6, 2009
3rd grade Drama- We are finishing our face sketches and working on our make-up Morgue, so have those magazine pages ready this week!
5th Grade Drama- We are working on the Stanislavski System and scoring scenes this week in class.
6th grade Language Arts- Reading the Dog of Pompeii pg. 110-118, Unit Test in Grammar on tuesday, Grammar pages 56-59 on thursday. We will work on writing an object in time paper in class.
H.S. Drama Lit- We will grade our comic book scenes on Wednesday, and we will start the 1940's North by North West, and Hitchcock.
Winnie the Pooh- Monday and Wednesday 3:30-5:00
Dorothy Meets Alice- Tuesday and thursday 3:30-5:30/ First twenty pages are memorized. Schedule change for the week before thanksgiving, Winnie the Pooh will meet on Tuesday November 24th instead of Dorothy meets Alice, they need the extra Rehearsal time......thanks, Miss Cindy

3rd grade Drama- We are finishing our face sketches inclass, and will begin cutting out the pieces from our magazine pages, so make sure you bring yours in this week.
5th grade Drama- We finished Pantomime this week. We will finish up the unit with Charades, and start our next unit on the Stanislavski System.
6th grade Literature: Grammar pages 52-54 this week. Grammar Quiz on Thursday. We will work on the packet for The Scribe this week in Literature.
Drama Lit H.S.- We will rehearse our Comic strip scenes with partners, and begin Critiques Thursday and Friday.
Winnie the Pooh- Mon and Wed. 3:30-5:00
Dorothy meets Alice- Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:30. Thanks for your participation in Big day, we all had a great time.

3rd grade Drama- We are working on our make-up face sketches this week. Make sure you do not lose your faces from the magazines, we will be using them very shortly. If you have not collected your yet, make sure you have at least twenty faces to use.
5th grade Drama- We are grading our Pantomimes this week.
6th Language Arts- We will be writing a paper on classroom character traits, grammer pages 44-51 this week. We will read our character traits out loud on wednesday, and Friday we will start to read The Scripe on page 70 in your Literature book.
High School Drama Lit- We Postponed the Cinematography Quiz until Monday, so make sure you use the weekend to study. There will be a small test on the 1930's filmmaking and the Hayes Code on Wednesday. Tuesday, thursday and Friday we will work on our comic strip scenes with partners.
Winnie the Pooh- Rehearsal Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:00
Dorothy meets Alice rehearsal _ Tuesday and thursday from 3:30-5:30. Practice your accents!
Jr, High Dance on Friday October 23rd! Costumes need to be appropriate, no shorter than two inches above the knee......No Spaghetti straps.....Just like school policy.

3rd grade Drama- We are working on our Make-up Morgue assignment. Make sure you get 20 faces from a magazine by the end of the week.
5th grade Drama- we are rehearsing our pantomimes this week and performing next week.
6th grade Language arts: We will show our Greyling monuments on Monday, and start reading Auntie this week. We will review for our grammar test on Tuesday and take the test on Thursday.
H.S. Drama Lit: We will finish Gone With the Wind this week, and get definitions for cinematography on Tuesday. There will be a quiz on the definitions on Friday.
Winnie the Pooh rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday this week.
Dorothy meets Alice rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday this week.

3rd grade Drama- We will be finishing our scenes and starting theatrical make-up this week. Make sure to be collecting faces from magazines for your make-up morgue project.
5th grade Drama- We will be working on Pantomimes this week in class. We will write and rehearse our own pantomimes, and perform them for the class in two weeks.
6th grade Language Arts- Grammar pages 37-42 this week. Grammar Quiz on Tuesday. We will finish reading the Greyling, answer questions, and work on a monument project for the greyling this week.
H.S. Drama Lit- 3page essay due on Tuesday-(1920's to 1930's sound and editing innovations, changes in the movie industry. ) We will learn about the Hayes Moral Code, and watch Gone With the Wind this week. Yes this time we will watch the entire movie. Remember that Friday is a Non-student day.
Winnie the Pooh- Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday this week from 3:30-5:00.
Dorothy Meets Alice- First Rehearsal is Thursday from 3:30-5:30 in room 232a. We will get our scripts and commitment forms, and read through the entire script.
