September28- October 2
3rd grade Drama- We will grade our scenes in class this week. Be collecting your magazine faces as we will be moving into theatrical make-up soon.
5th grade Drama- We will start our unit on Motivated movement this week.
6th grade Language Arts: We will be writing a news article to be performed in class. We will also do grammar pages 32-36 on thursday. Friday we will begin the greyling.
High School Drama Lit- We will be moving into the 1930's film era, and study the hayes Code, Musical Genres, the Great Depression, and Comic Strip project this week.
Dorothy Meets Alice Auditions for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades on Saturday October 3rd in the Freed theatre from 8:30-10:30. Please sign up out side my door room 232A.
Winnie the Pooh rehearsals are Monday and wednesday from 3;30-5:00.

3rd grade Drama- We are working on scenes in class. We will critique them this week and grade them next week. Make sure to start looking for your magazine pages with lots of faces on them for our make-up morgue project. It will be coming up soon.
5th grade- We will grade our open scenes this week in class. Then we will start our packet on motivated movement.
6th grade Literature: There is a grammar test on unit 1 on Thursday, we will work on grammar pages 24-30 on Tuesday. We will read the King of Mazy May pg. 25 in class.
Drama Lit- We are studying Charlie Chaplin and Mary Pickford this week. There will be a Silent Film Quiz on Friday. Review your notes from Birth of a Nation as well as the study guide I will give you on Wednesday.
Winnie the Pooh- Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday this week after school. Miss Sandy your director gave you a new sheet with rehearsal times set from 3:30-5:00 unless otherwise needed until 5:30.
Auditions for Dorothy meets Alice are Saturday October 3rd. Sign up outside Room 232B. This is for 6,7,8,grades only.
Community Fest is Tomorrow! Saturday September 19th! Come out and have fun with the bounce houses, music, giant slides, and meet our neighbors in the community.

3rd Grade Drama- We will be partnering up for scene work, and rehearsing this week. Please note that we will need to start collecting magazines with lots of faces in it for our make-up Morgue assignment. Parents please tear out the faces for the students as some of the pictures in the magazines can be inappropriate for the students. We need ten eyes, noses, lips, and faces for the project.
5th Grade Drama- We will grade our open scenes this week in class, be sure to be memorized.
6th Grade Literature- There is a grammar quiz on Tuesday, and we will begin to read Dragon Dragon in class this week. Grammar pgs, 20-23 on Thursday. There will be a grammar Test on Unit 1 on the 24th!
High School Drama Lit- Introduction to the History of Film this week, with Birth of a Nation Silent film, and basic editing techniques.
Winnie The Pooh Auditions are Saturday Sept. 12th!
Dorothy Meets Alice 6-8th grade- Auditions are October 3rd.

September 8-11-09
6th grade Literature- Grammar pages 13-19 this week, we will write about our favorite animal on wednesday and draw a picture of it and share our writing and picture in class on friday.
Drama Lit- We will be working in our groups on the biblical worldview project this week. The projects will be presented to the class on Friday September 11.
5th grade- We will be rehearsing our open scenes with our partners and will be graded next week memorized.
3rd grade- We will be getting scenes with partners this week to practice and perform in class.
Winnie the Pooh- Auditions are Saturday September 12 in the Freed Theatre from 9-12 . Please sign up outside the drama room 232a. Grades 1-12.
Dorothy meets Alice- Auditions are October 3rd. Sign ups are outside the Drama room 232a. This is strictly a Jr. High production- 6th, 7th, and 8th grades only.
