Last Week of 3rd Grade

Congratulations to this wonderful class for their achievements this year! They have proved so many qualities and talents, beyond their academics! They will always be special to me as my first 3rd grade class, but also because of their great behavior and personalities. They made my year :)

Our very last week brings so many feelings. Excitement for summer, end-of-year celebrations, and sadness to say goodbye for a while. Please remember our traditional last day of school party outside and HALF DAY. There is NO daycare on June 7 so please plan for a pick up at noon. Students may wear relaxed dress.

Important:
Please be sure to get the text books (like math) that you signed out at back to school night returned. Almost every student has a math book at home, but some are not remembering where they are. Please help locate all of these CCA books (library books too) and return them to me so I can sign off your books.

This week:
Monday: May journals due.

Tuesday: Field Day! Students may come prepared with hats, water bottles, sunscreen, and excitement for our field day activities in the morning.
Science test
Reading Projects due (time will be given on Monday in class too)

Wednesday: Bible test
Class Party. - Please bring whatever treats you would like to share with everyone else at the party. We have 14 students. Individual sized items are MUCH appreciated. Ie- cupcakes rather than one big cake to serve. Thanks!

Thursday: Relaxed dress, all school party, Half day, Last Day of 3rd grade :(

Thank you again for truly blessing me with a wonderful class full of super kids. May they have blessings beyond their wildest dreams through life and starting with 4th grade. I wish you all a fantastic summer of adventures, relaxation, and fun. I hope to see you all again next year.
Love,
Mrs. Dey
