This week, we worked on and turned in our Bud, not Buddy projects. These projects had two parts, part one was that we had to choose one activity on the front page of the packet that Mrs. Dey gave us. Part two was that we had to choose a theme from friendship, racism, hope, or survival and answer the questions for that theme. We chose one or two activities depending on the theme. The projects were due on Friday, which was the day that all the work in this quarter should be turned in.

We will miss you and good luck! Let Jesus shine through you in your new school
This week we have numerous things to fill our schedule up before Easter break. Please remember to continue to work hard as we finish up some things before the break starts, as well as begin some really important things like the science fair projects.
Monday~ Science Ch 3 test- Remember to use your study guide, chapter review, book, and worksheets to study with.
Herman the Hamster letter due.
Bring in signed book report paper with book title filled in for an extra bonus.
Tuesday~ We'll begin the information for science fair projects
Wednesday~ Math test 10 and INTERNATIONAL DAY!! Please help us make this a fun and festive day. Wear your traditional attire or school uniform.- A t-shirt referring to a culture etc. is not traditional attire. Please bring in food to share with the class from your culture (or another) so we can taste many different foods. I will have plates, napkins, and utensils ready, you bring the food! Remember our limitations on "dividing up and serving" with our class of 17. We will plan to feast after recess. Please also feel free to bring in Culural items to "show and tell".
Friday~ Bud Final Project is due and Check point #1 (pgs1-8) for science fair project is due.
Last day of the quarter- be sure all assignments are turned in! Report cards will go home the following week.
This week we will begin a new vocabulary list but will continue it the following week and take the test on Wednesday, March 31.
Up coming dates before Easter break:
3-30 Bible unit test
3-31 Vocabulary test
4-1 Science Ch 4 test

Book Reports are due 4/14
Easter Break begins 4/2
Keep up the perseverance class! A few more weeks until a lovely week of to celebrate Easter. I appreciate your hard work, especially on the extra math worksheets- but they paid off with those improved math test scores! Yay!
Remember we are working towards 6th grade with more assignments, more challenges, and more responsibility. Push yourself to "earn" that place rather than putting in less effort than before.
Thanks so much parents,
Mrs. Dey
