2009-10 School Year Calendar of Events:

***Tuesday morning, Dec. 1 - Field trip to the Operation Christmas Child Warehouse in Santa Ana to sing for a live news conference! Wear your Operation Christmas Child t-shirt, take your backpack/belongings to the music room and meet at the bus by the playground at 8AM. We will return to school around 12 noon. The Operation Christmas Child staff is giving us snacks and lunch!

***December 6- Hour of Power performance; 7:45AM-11:15AM Wear your Concert Uniform - Meet under the Cathedral in room 141.

2009-10 School Year Calendar of Events:

***Sunday, November 29 -Evening -Spaghetti Dinner Fund raiser (4:30-6:30)in the Arboretum and then enjoy a FREE performance at the Crystal Cathedral "Joy Drive" concert. Pre-paid dinner tickets are $5 each ($7 at the door). Bring your family and friends! CCA Chorus and families are encouraged to eat at the spaghetti dinner around 4:30. Singers need to be in CONCERT UNIFORM and meet in the cathedral for our sound check at 5:40. The FREE concert starts at 7PM. This is a fun night - invite your family and friends! Singers can be picked up inside the Cathedral right after the event. It should be around 8:15 or so....

***The CCA Chorus needs your help in donating specific items for our Spaghetti Dinner. THIS week (Nov. 9-13), we are asking that you bring in frozen MEATBALLS to the CCA office. Label it with your student's name on it and turn it in to the music room anytime this week. Shopping tip: They are on sale at Albertsons for $5.99 for a pound of beef-no-trans-fat meatballs!

THIS week (Nov. 9-13), we are asking that you bring in either a case of water bottles (no sport top needed ) or Kraft imitation Parmesan Cheese. Label it with your student's name on it and turn it in to the music room anytime this week. Next week's item to bring: 1 package frozen beef meatballs. Shopping tip: They are on sale at Albertsons for $5.99 for a pound of beef-no-trans-fat meatballs!
To receive the PIP credits, please bring in the item during the week it is assigned. We have little storage space to store all of the items at once.

***There will be a brief tour meeting for all parents and students going to Chicago right after our concert on Nov. 14. We will meet in the Art Gallery across from the arboretum about 7:30PM

And Now, we are looking for a good flight cost for our group. If any parent would like to have some PIP hours to help me with finding/booking a flight....please let me know.
