***The CCA Chorus needs your help in donating specific items for our Spaghetti Dinner. This week, we are asking that you bring in a box of SPHAGHETTI noodles. Label it with your student's name on it and turn it in to the music room anytime this week.
Next weeks item to bring is: RAGU spaghetti sauce.
To receive the PIP credits, please bring in the item during the week it is assigned. We have little storage space to store all of the items at once.
***Tour to Chicago- WE ARE GOING!!!! I have 20 singers signed up to go and will take new signups (singers) all the way through February.
And Now, we are looking for a good flight cost for our group. If any parent would like to have some PIP hours to help me with finding/booking a flight....please let me know.
***$250 payment per person due Nov. 2
***There will be a brief tour meeting for all parents and students going to Chicago right after our concert on Nov. 14. We will meet in the Art Gallery across from the arboretum.

***Tuesday morning, Dec. 1 - Field trip to the Operation Christmas Child Warehouse in Santa Ana to sing for a live news conference! 8AM-12 noon.
*December 6- Hour of Power performance; 7:45AM-11:30AM

***April 17-19 - We have an opportunity to HOST the American Boychoir. We need 15 families to house 2 boys each for 2 nights while they perform here at the Crystal Cathedral. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to share your home for 2 nights. More information to come in the New Year.....

***THANK YOU for a wonderful performance on Sunday, Oct. 11 - WOW! You looked FABULOUS in the uniforms and thank you, parents for making it a wonderful day for the children. I am so blessed to be their teacher!

***ALL Boys-Please make sure your tuxedo fits well and remember to wear BLACK SOCKS and BLACK SHOES this Sunday.
***GIRL'S DRESSES- I have been frantically looking for the dresses - somehow lost in the UPS life. Here is the plan: I will be personally picking them up this weekend and delivering them on Sunday morning to Room 141 under the Cathedral. Please have your daughter come with hair and shoes/tights on by 7:45 AM. Those girls will change into the dresses and we will provide duct tape and pin the dresses as needed. All of the dresses come specially fit for your child - and usually only need altering on the hem. We will make it work so that your daughther WILL sing on the H.O.P. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
*Girls-REMINDER regarding performance SHOES. Shoes must be BLACK with soft rubber soles, with little or NO heel. Flats are best for comfortable performing. Also - don't forget black hose/tights

***Tour to Chicago- This is tour opportunity for CCA Chorus. We still need more interest from you - please let me know this week! $100 deposit.
****ALL Boys-We will be getting new shirts and ties - no more vests!
Tux shirt/tie money due- $40. Check to CCA - marked tux shirt. The "tux lady" measured the boys Wed. Sept. 23. When you receive the tux, please try it on to make sure it fits. Everything will be given you by Thursday this week.
