High School Choir

Hello choristers and parents:

Just beautiful! I cannot BELIEVE how professional and beautiful you sounded on Christmas Eve... you all are such a blessing to our school and congregation.

Please check the website weekly for updates on performances dates and information. "PIP" is indicated anywhere PIP hours are available. My primary source of contact with parents and students will be via email and this webpage. I will be more likely to respond in a timely manner via email verses phone calls as my school days are very busy.

Calendar:

JANUARY
(Into the Woods rehearsals begin M-F 3:30-5:00pm)
5-Vocal Scholarship nominations sent out
9- Vocal Scholarship paperwork due

FEBRUARY
4- International Day
12- Barber Shop Quartet Valentine's Dinner. Time: TBA, some time in the evening. (Added 12/17)
13- Barber shop fundraiser (during school)
21- Community Sports Event. Details TBA (added 11/21/08)

MARCH
14- Arvella Schuller Scholarship Concert Call time: TBA, 7:00pm show
30- Spring Concert Dress Rehearsal. 2:30pm- 6:00pm
31-Spring Pops Concert. 5:45m call time, 7:00pm show.

APRIL

MAY
17- Hour of Power combined choirs. 7:45am-11:30am (added 12/19)

JUNE
10- HS Graduation 5:30 call time, 7:00pm service. Dresses and Tuxedos

K-5 Music
Welcome back!!!

I will be posting all pertinent information on my website regarding any important dates during the school year. Please check the blog every Friday for new information.

K-5 students: Congratulations on a wonderful Christmas Program!

Kindergarten: Kindergarten Celebration is June 2 at 7:00pm.

1st grade:
2nd grade:

All 2-5th Students are required to have a music folder that they bring to every class meeting. Students who fail to bring their folders and handouts may lose their recess.

5th grade students: Recorder are in!!!! Parents, you may want to invest in some earplugs :) The Hispanic service went beautifully. Mr. Huizar says THANK YOU!

Recorders will be used in every music class starting in 2009.
