Kindergarten
To apply for kindergarten your child must be five years of age by September 1st. All kindergarten applicants must be tested by an outside readiness testing service, Chancy and Bruce Educational Resources, Inc. There is a fee for this testing paid directly to Chancy and Bruce at the time of the testing. This is not a test that can be studied for, but a readiness test, to determine if the student is developmentally ready for school in all areas or if a bonus year is needed for success in school.
Kindergarten at the Crystal Cathedral Academy is an all day kindergarten. The students will take a "rest" for approximately one hour after lunch. Kindergarten at CCA is an academic kindergarten. The students will be learning phonics, pre math skills, science, social science, health, and Bible. CCA also includes specialized instruction in five subjects. Each specialist subject is visited about twice a week. The specialist subjects are Music, Drama, Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Library. The specialist classes are graded and evaluated with the same weight as the academic classes.

High School
The Crystal Cathedral High School is the only private Christian performing arts school in Orange County. CCHS is not only strong in the performing arts, but is academically strong as well. USC, UCI, UCLA, UC Berkley, Georgia Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Eastman School of Music and Cal Poly Pomona are just a few of the colleges that our students have chosen to attend. The class sizes are small allowing for a lot of personal attention. Only 25 students per grade level will be accepted each year. A fine arts audition, a pastoral referral, and a statement of faith are required pieces of the application process. The goal of CCHS is to not only teach students about Jesus, but to also teach each student how to rely upon Him during times of adolescence, college, and adulthood. Each student at CCHS is required to earn 40 Visual Performing Arts (VPA) units and 20 hours of community service per year in order to graduate. The VPA classes are graded and evaluated with the same weight as the academic classes.
