Welcome to Crystal Cathedral Schools!
We hope that you will take a moment to get to know more about our schools. Hopefully you and your child(ren) will someday (if they aren't already) be a part of our school family.
Although I currently serve as the superintendent I started out here at Crystal Cathedral Schools as a parent. I was looking for a school for my four sons that would encourage them in expressing their creativity as well as nurture their spiritual walk. I wanted a school that was safe and positive. I also wanted my sons to get the best academic education they possibly could. Even though this was a tall order, I found all I wanted here at Crystal Cathedral Schools and more.
As much as the school met my needs as a parent way back then, the schools have improved greatly over the last twelve years. I am very proud of what we have accomplished! Our staff is comprised of loving, positive, Christian teachers. Our curriculum is carefully chosen to be the most effective learning tools available. Our teaching methodology is comprised of the most effective learning strategies according to recent research. Our programs are innovative and noted for their excellence. We are one of the only schools that include all of the arts for all of the children every year as part of the core curriculum (visual, music, and theatre) as well as a mission-learning program that is incorporated in grades K through 12.
Please know that it is our joy to work every day with the amazing, precious children and young people that God has brought to our schools. I continue to watch with amazement at the wonderful Christian leaders our students are becoming. My heart swells with such bitter-sweet emotions as pride and affection as I watch our seniors walk the halls, knowing they will be leaving us soon, to make a positive mark on our world.
Dr. Phil McGraw has said, “Crystal Cathedral Schools should be cloned across the country.” Well, as flattered by his endorsement, we don't see that ever happening. We are one of a kind. Feel free to check us out. We just might be the school you are looking for!
