How exciting it is to invite you to be a part of the Crystal Cathedral's new online Prayer Community,  founded on the beloved scripture verse:

"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples." - Isaiah 56:7

For more than 2,000 years, persons have associated these beautiful, God-spoken words with locations - church buildings.

But God is revealing to us every day - first through the televised Hour of Power and now through the Internet - that this church, HIS church, is not limited to touching only those who physically walk through our doors. Yes, technology has provided "virtual doors," enabling us to become a Global Church, whose mission is to connect you to Jesus Christ and a group of positive, likeminded believers.

As a body of believers, God has called each of us to pray... and to pray for one another. So it's fitting that at the core of this global Crystal Cathedral church is a new worldwide online Prayer Community.

Prayer is simply talking with and listening to God. It can be done privately or with other believers - any time and anywhere. I invite you today to join this Prayer Community and:

• Submit prayer requests to all Prayer Community users or to a confidential prayer team
• Respond electronically to the prayer requests of others
• Maintain your own Prayer Journal of your prayer requests, responses received, and people you're praying for
• Develop spiritual friendships with other participants
• Grow in your understanding of prayer through online resources

It's my prayer that as you open the door to this online "house of prayer," God will bless you where you need the blessing the most.
