"I decided to get involved in this particular area of ministry because my spiritual gifts are Service and Mercy. This ministry assignments fits them perfectly.

I firmly believe that if you stay active after retirement, you stay healthier. People ask me what I am doing now that I have retired? I tell them "I haven't retired, I still work a lot but I just don't get paid for it.

"I feel that I have grown spiritually as I serve. I appreciate the fact that God gave me certain gifts and the more I use them, the closer I grow to Him."
