Central to the children’s ministries program at Crystal Cathedral is Kid Power Plant.  Kid Power Plant is an original Sunday School program that incorporates the best practices of education in teaching children the Bible.

Kid Power Plant
Sundays: 9:30am, 11:00am and 1:15pm Late September to Early June.
Ages 2 – 5th grade
Check-in begins 15 min prior to each class on Level 1 in the FLC. Central to the children’s ministry programs at Crystal Cathedral is Kid Power Plant. The Incredible Race
Sundays: 11:00am and 1:15pm Late June to Early September.
Ages 2 – 5th grade
Check-in begins 15 min prior to each class on Level 1 in the FLC. Get ready for the race of a lifetime! The Incredible Race will provide a fun-filled opportunity for kids to go trackside where they will learn from biblical pacesetters who turned in championship performances. Turbo-charged activities and experiences will help prepare them for the race of life. The green flag is up . . . and victory lane is straight ahead! Classes are FREE.

Nursery
Sundays: 9:30am, 11:00am, 1:15pm and 6:30pm
Ages Birth – 23 months
Check-in begins 15 min prior to each class on Level 1 in the FLC. Room 134 FLC. Introducing our "little ones" to come to Jesus through care that exemplifies the love of Christ. Stories, music, play, and snacks make these youngest attendees know they are cherished by God. Weeknight care provided for most pre-scheduled classes. Please confirm with your class leader. Classes are FREE.

Outrigger Island
June 23-27, 2008 9:00am – 1:00pm
Entering K – completed 5th grade.
Program begins each day in the FLC Gym. This summer children will experience an exciting tropical themed adventure with music, drama, crafts, snacks, games, water activities, and Bible lessons. We’ll learn about living God’s unshakeable truth as we challenge each other to venture out in OUTRIGGER ISLAND! Early registration through June 8th is $25 per child and $15 per sibling. Full registration is $35 per child and $20 per sibling. Volunteer discounts available if you attend 2 trainings and serve all week.

Infant Baptism
Sundays in the Crystal Cathedral
Baptism is a public expression of the fact that your child belongs to God. It is their first step in growing a relationship with the God who loves them. Contact Judy Stevenson at 714-971-4251 or judys@crystalcathedral.org.

Child Baptism and First Communion Class
Ages 4 – 14. Child must attend with at least one parent.
Monday classes beginning April 14th and continuing for six sessions. Room FLC – 230. Communion and Baptism are wonderful, spiritual milestones in a child’s life. We invite your family to our annual springtime classes to learn about these sacraments. Classes are FREE.

NEW! Musical and Drama Camp
First 3 weeks in August with 2 performances Aug 22 & 23
Daily 8am – 5:30 pm
Grades 3-8 (Entering in Fall)
The purpose of this camp is to provide a low cost drama and music program for the youth of the church and the community. Priority acceptance into the program will be given to current and participating Kid Power Plant or XLR8 attendees and community members with no church affiliation. Students will audition, rehearse, memorize and present a full production during their camp experience. Application fee is $25 and course fee is $150.

Parent Night Out 2008!
April 18, June 6, August 29, October 17, and December 12, 6pm – 11pm
Children Birth through 12 years old FREE childcare provided so parents can have a night out. If you want a pizza meal, beverages, and snacks for your child there is a charge of $5. Reservations are necessary and are due no later than 4pm the Monday prior to the event.
