Bridgette Bentley (BB) sang in the Glory of Christmas for three years, and was in the national tour of The Color Purple. Today, Bridgette has an entertainment company called Be Ready Productions, and has created a non-profit organization that teaches the creative arts to children in group homes. Lawrence Wilkes (LW) interviews Bridgette.
LW: Bridgette, how are you?
BB: I'm well.
LW: It's so good to have you back.
BB: Thank you.
LW: You used to sing in the Glory of Christmas.
BB: I did, I did.
LW: And you were in the national tour of The Color Purple?
BB: That's right. It was about four years ago and it was a wonderful opportunity. Oprah is a good boss.
LW: Now what have you been doing since then?
BB: Well I started my own entertainment company called Be Ready Productions, and I also started a nonprofit organization that teaches the creative arts to children in group homes.
LW: That's great! What do you do in your spare time?
BB: I think of other things to do.
LW: You are a busy gal and you're using your gifts to the glory of God. We appreciate that so much.
BB: Thank you.
LW: Bridgette, we welcome you back. God bless you.
BB: Thank you.
