The key to economic security

Robert H. Schuller

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." – Luke 6:38

Today, everybody seems to have their own ideas about how to make the dollar stretch.

I heard a story some time ago about a woman who had a very unique answer to the problem of economic security. At her funeral, the mourners were told that during her lifetime she had four husbands, and apparently she had planned all four. First, she married a millionaire. Then she married a Hollywood producer. Third, she married a life-insurance salesman. And finally, her last husband was a mortician. Her plan worked out well—one for the money; two for the show; three to get ready; and four to go!

If you want to achieve financial security, you don't have to marry a millionaire. I've got a better idea for you. It's simply this: Pray that God will give you the health, strength, and opportunity to earn some money. Then, once you've earned this money—however small that first paycheck is—take ten percent of it and drop it into the offering plate of your church.

Then watch God bless.

Giving back to God what belongs to Him is the best lesson I have learned. Practicing it has made an awesome impact on my life, not only financially but spiritually I feel so enlightened because I have learned not to steal God from what belongs to Him. I thank for the online service. May God bless the blessed family for years to come. Amen Sukh

Dr. S. and his ministry of teaching positives, like tough times don't last, but tough people do and turning scars into stars, plus many more of his sayings has pushed alot of negative into positive.A few mos. ago I had some really greedy, awful business stuff happen and after I was upset, I started trying to donate what I could and it has REALLY made a difference, and miracles everywhere!Prompted by angelic humans that came through my life as examples, I would see food/clothes on sale or clearance, buy what I could, and donate it when I had enough to drop off at any youth shelter or 'Village of Hope' in Tustin to negate the greed that I encountered. It's now a lifestyle change from GOD, and there are so many people(especially kids)that need help in these times. As a testimonial, GOD has supplied my every need and blessed me so much though all this! And thanks to CC, and Dr. S. for his positive messages!
